Don’t Rely on Only a Fence for Home Security

I never thought I had to worry about my home being broken into, because I have a tall, wooden fence around my yard. I guess I never realized how easily burglars can break through fences, and my wooden one was no match for a thief who simply broke a couple of boards to get into my yard. From there, he entered my home and stole some of my prized heirloom jewelry and other valuable items. I created this blog to share my story and help others who may be relying only on fences to prevent home break-ins. I have since invested in a good security system and will never live in a home without one. Thankfully, only items were stolen, and my family was not harmed.
